Course Dates & Fees
Description
Day 1 — Brachial Plexus and Cervical Nerves
Day 1 is designed to give a general overview of peripheral nerve ultrasound anatomy including scanning techniques and pathology, concentrating on brachial plexus and cervical nerves, which will include a live demonstration. Participants will perform practical scanning techniques on live volunteers. This workshop will consolidate learning outcomes from the basics to the most advanced applications.
Day 2 — Upper Limb
Day 2 is designed to assess peripheral nerves of the Upper Limb, including the nerve anatomy of the Shoulder and Thoracic Outlet, Wrist, Hand, and Fingers. This will cover scanning techniques and pathology, involving live demonstrations of all areas. Participants will perform practical scanning techniques on live volunteers. Interactive group case-based discussions will consolidate all learning from the basics to the most advanced applications.
Day 3 — Lower Limb
Day 3 is designed to assess peripheral nerves of the Lower Limb, including the nerve anatomy of the Pelvis, Hip, Thigh, Knee, Leg, Ankle and Foot. This will cover scanning techniques and pathology, involving live demonstrations of all areas. Participants will perform practical scanning techniques on live volunteers. Interactive group case-based discussions will consolidate all learning from the basics to the most advanced applications. This will also include an overview of the muscle abnormalities in the Lower Limb.
