Description
The PoCUS Hands-on Ultrasound Refresher is a private half-day supervised scanning session for past participants who would like additional practical scanning time in selected PoCUS regions.
Designed for those who have previously completed an eligible Basic or Advanced PoCUS course, this session provides focused hands-on practice with a variety of volunteers. Participants may nominate up to two scanning regions they have completed previously, such as eFAST, renal tract, DVT, gallbladder, shoulder, knee, cardiac or lung ultrasound.
This session is designed for supervised scanning practice only. It does not include formal teaching, pre-course reading or post-course learning materials. Participants can log their scans in the case portal to support ongoing learning and competency development.
When registering, please list up to two preferred scanning regions in the Comments box at checkout. Your selected regions must be areas you have previously completed through an eligible PoCUS course.
Certificate
- This course in NOT credentialed.
- Students will receive a ‘Statement of Attendance’ from AIU Singapore upon completion of this course.
Prerequisites
Prerequisites
This session is for past participants of eligible Basic or Advanced POCUS courses. Participants may nominate up to two scanning regions, provided they have previously completed training in those areas.
Eligible regions include eFAST, renal tract, DVT, gallbladder, shoulder, knee, cardiac and lung ultrasound.
